‘Panta Rhei’ is a unique piece of furniture, combining past glories, natural materials and quality craftsmanship. Its design is based on three key elements, which result in a harmonious and timeless model.
1. The base of the ‘Panta Rhei’ table is formed from an old bluestone door sill, hand-picked in a historic house. This door sill is a heritage piece, adding an extra layer of history and character to the furniture.
2. The tabletop’s wooden part was sourced with care from a maple tree in our garden. This element gives the furniture piece a warm and organic character, not to mention a personal history that is truly unique.
3. The table’s metal part has a special origin, coming from an old barrel. This feature, with its distinctive patina and character, is of central importance to the table’s design. It gives the piece of furniture an expressive visual and tactile quality.
