Every element in the garden tells a story: from old roof tiles creatively reused in a charming stacked wall, to terrace tiles that were carefully relaid or salvaged from other gardens.

The design blends atmosphere, functionality, and style. A cosy seating area provides the perfect spot to soak up the evening sun in peace and privacy, while a raised planter built using the traditional wa-pan technique draws the eye as a unique focal point. Flowing, organic borders soften the edges of the garden, with elegant planting beds filled with a delightful mix of edible plants. From herbs and leafy greens to fruits like blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries—there’s always something fresh to pick and enjoy, all year round.

Existing mature plants, such as a striking fig tree, have been beautifully integrated into the design, while climbing plants like kiwi berries cover the walls to create a lush, green cocoon. Natural lava stone paths not only add to the garden’s organic feel, but also provide a low-maintenance and sustainable solution.
